Hi, I have the Win 2000 Server Port of TAR and am trying to write directly to a Tandberg DLT8000 using the command line, I have tried numerous combinations without sucess, can anyone tell me if I am missing something obvious:
tar -c /dev/mt0 /filesiwanttoarchive
tar -c /dev/mt /filesiwanttoarchive
tar -c /dev/rmt0 /filesiwanttoarchive
tar -c -O /filesiwanttoarchive
tar -c //./Tape0 /filesiwanttoarchive
tar -c //./Tape /filesiwanttoarchive
