Well, since you are behind a NAT box, you either need to configure the GNUnet 
SMTP transport (http://www.ovmj.org/GNUnet/smtp.php3, difficult) or
a) configure the NAT box (which acts also as a firewall) to forward TCP 
(and/or UDP) packets that go to port 2086 to your machine (10.0.0.1), and
b) put the *external* IP address of the NAT box into the GNUnet configuration 
file (gnunet.conf under [NETWORK], IP). Since your NAT box changes its IP 
address frequently, you may want to setup dynamic DNS (essentially a DNS 
entry that gets updated frequently to reflect changes to your IP) and put the 
DynDNS name under the IP address.
