Hello all. I think I figured out what was causing
gnunet-gtk to crash (GNUnet 0.6.1c). I remembered
that last week when I did an apt-get upgrade, there
was a dependency problem with libxft-dev that I
coulden't resolve so I just removed it. When Christian
mentioned in his reply that it might be a font
problem, the light bulb went on, and I instaled it
again (no dependency problems this time), recompiled
gnunet, and it works like a charm.
What I'm now wondering is this something that should
be checked for in the configure script, or is there a
missing dependency in debian's gtk-dev package?
If it's helpful, more info on libxft-dev in unstable
can be found here:
http://packages.debian.org/unstable/libdevel/libxft-dev
HTH,
Brent
