Thanks for the tip. I did try defragging first (using Windows' own defragger)
but this being a brand new laptop there was no defragged space to be gained.

Hmm... I don't like the sound of the words 'a few hours' :)

Hmm... thanks for the info but it all sounds like too much work for me at this
stage.
I'll try creating a live CD of Partition Wizard's MiniTool (as suggested by
Joel Roth) and take it from there.
