I'm not sure wether it's possible using grub. At least judging from the 
replies so far ... no. ;)

BUT what could be helpful: kexec! At least I already successfully 
changed the kernel *within* a distribution without having to reboot. But 
I don't see any reason why it shouldn't work with changing to another 
distro this way. You just give the corresponding params and kexec's 
gonna do the magic for you. :)
