CPU fans get throttled up when grub loads |

I have an MSI B550 Unify motherboard/AMD Ryzen 9 system. I have "Smart
Fan" enabled in the BIOS however, when I boot into Grub, the BIOS control
of the fans is broken. Is there a setting to allow grub to leave the BIOS
in control of the fans?
Please cc me on any replies as I am not subscribed to the ML.
