Looking for a hint. In the end, the error I am trying to track down is: *error: premature end of file (http)/boot/vmlinuz-4.18.0-305.3.1.el8.x86_64* Are there known-issues with loading via HTTP? Has anyone else seen this error?
You may find iPXE a better tool for the task at hand. https://ipxe.org/ Also, be sure that your kernel and initrd support network booting. https://your_CentOS_mirror/centos/8/BaseOS/x86_64/os/images/pxeboot/ https://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/help-grub/2017-12/msg00039.html
