I have two computers running grub on nvme SSD's, with Win10 and Linux Mint Mate 21.1 installed on each.
So, I think the problem is probably not with grub.Perhaps, try installing Ubuntu Linux, and/or Linux Mint, and find what happens, regarding grub.
