[Help-gsl] cross compiling

Hey all,
 
basically I need to solve a relatively small and simple linear system on an 
embedded linux machine that I am programming via cygwin in windows. I am hoping 
to accomplish this using gsl but I am having problems getting it working and I 
suspect I may be going about it all wrong. How do I set up gsl with cygwin so 
that I can compile using my crosstool?
