GSL Library Integrate Questions

Hi GNU GSL team:
       I am a software engineer in the innovation team which belongs to 
Faurecia Clarion Electronics.
       In my innovation project, I may need to use the GSL lib on the embedded 
platform instead of re-writing the mathematic function. So I need to know:

1.      Whether this library can be built on the CS+(Renesas) compiler?

2.      Does it possible to be deployed on the MCU(Micro Control Unit) and have 
a good performance and do not influence the run-time attribute of the chip 
because of the potential float calculating.
I will appreciate if I can get your answer~
