Hi Shivu!  Thanks for your interest.  The TODO items in the manual may
not be the most relevant or most useful stuff to work on -- I can think
of other things such as getting GSS to work with more applications by
default as one important work item.

To answer your specific questions, there are no explicit plans to
implement more mechanisms, but they are very welcome.  I intend to
implement my own password-based GSS mechanism in the library.  I don't
have any plans to work on public-key based mechanisms myself, but if you
want to do, that could be useful.

Nobody is working on any of those work items right now.

If you want to help, just getting Shishi + GSS up and running and trying
to use it in various applications that use GSS would be the most
helpful.  I don't think it has been tested a lot yet.
