The Hurd is on the second partition of the first
hard drive. So, after booting into my Debian
GNU/Linux partition, I run
# fsck /dev/hda2
and it returns
fsck 1.27 (8-Mar-2002)
e2fsck 1.27 (8-Mar-2002)
/dev/hda2: clean, 4000/132768 files, 20802/265072
blocks
Should it be more complicated?
