The auth tools

Hi,

I'm wondering on what processes addauth/rmauth/setauth work by default. For
instance, if I login and run screen and then type "setauth root" in one
window, then all my other running shells (i.e. in other windows) would also
become root.

Is it a normal behaviour? How can we have only setauth' parent process
authentication be changed?
