Well, I got the system booting from MBR finally. I am learning much and
have several points of clarification to submit to GNU/Hurd re: the
install guide.
I am completely lost of the server bootstrap section. Can I use a
floppy as my pseudo-root-device?
In the meantime I moved on to networking.
When I enter:
settrans -fgcap /servers/socket/2 /hurd/pfinet -i eth0 \
-a 192.168.1.3 -m 255.255.255.0 -g 192.168.1.5 <ENTER>
I receive:
/hurd/pfinet: Translator died
When I ping mydomain I receive "Network is unreachable" error.
Almost there,
Kevin
