Hi! Can you quote a specific URL?
Using the string 'foo/bar' is rejected properly for me, see:
http://josefsson.org/idn.php/?data=foo%2Fbar&mode=stringprep&profile=Nodeprep&charset=UTF-8&lastcharset=UTF-8
It says:
idn: stringprep_profile: Prohibited code points in input
