Whatever decisions are made in elections need to be on the grounds that
it is what is best for America, so the world's opinion of our leaders be
damned. What's missing from the two excerpted paragraphs? The main
problem with today's conservatives is that they are not able to defend
capitalism in a principled way.

not post: The confusing.

And then Kyoto, I believe, exempted developing countries from its
emissions obligations.
