Hello,
>>>>>>>>>>>>Andrew Smallbone <address@hidden> writes in answer to

"octave: can't resolve symbol 'set_Complex_error_handler__FPFPCc_v'"
>This is in the libg++ library which on my Slackware 3.0 machine
>(an ELF system)is in `/usr/lib/g++.so'. Have you this file?
----------------------
I have this problem too, although
maxwell:/os/tmp/octave-1.1.1$ ldd ./octave
libtermcap.so.2 => /lib/libtermcap.so.2.0.0
libg++.so.27 => /usr/lib/libg++.so.27.1.0
libstdc++.so.27 => /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.27.1.0
libm.so.5 => /lib/libm.so.5.0.4
libc.so.5 => /lib/libc.so.5.2.16
with all these libraries installed!
Couldn't it be a problem of the fact that this binary distribution of
octave has been compiled using (beta)g77 and gcc.2.7.1?
any help would be apreciated
regards,
ferdinand
