Help for nonlinear set...

| Dear Sir,
| I would be grateful if you advise me how can I find a fast, compact
| subroutine in ANSI C just for solving system of algebraic nonlinear
| equations(about 6 to 12 equations of order of x and x^2), to add to my
| main C program.
| I saw octave web page in web and also looked in ftp site of that but it
| couldn't help me.
