The routines krylov/krylovb are used to construct an orthogonal basis of
[v, A*v, ..., (A^k)*v ]; orthogonalization (via householder
reflections) is implemented there. You may be able to adapt
the code there to your purposes. Otherwise, the qr routine mentioned
earlier may be what you're looking for.
