No problems, of course. We'll just keep on hoping that someday someone will take it up ;-)Anyway, there's a plethora of Java XML libaries around and many tutorials on using XML, see e.g., here:
http://www.rgagnon.com/topics/java-xml.htmlOctave has an Octave-Java bridge (Octave-Forge package) and it has recently been integrated in the development source.
