Thank you so much!   I have found gnu octave 3.6.2 and it installed fine.

One more question though.     On top of gnu octave 3.6.2, I need to install GUI Octave 1.6, right?

However, http://guioctave.com/    is now some company unrelated to Math.   

Where can I get GUI Octave which would work with gnu octave 3.6.2????
