My new scripts are as follows, and the same error is occurring. The addition
of 'function' made the program run in octave but it is still not working
from the bash script.
New files:
Rrun.sh:
---------
#!/bin/bash
#Run runnin.m via this file
cd /Users/epettinger
echo "Octave running"
Title="Insert Title Here";
octave --silent --eval "runnin('$Title')"
echo "Octave done"
--------
runnin.m:
--------
% Plotting and saving, to be used from within a .sh file
function runnin(Title)
x=[4,3];
y=[3,4];
disp(Title);
cd /Users/epettinger/
figure
hold on;
plot(x,y);
str=sprintf("%s",Title);
title(str);
hold off;
print -dpdf Attempt.pdf
