Hi Lourenço,

I ran your example and I see the same error. I do not know exactly the cause
-- suspect an empty axis handle -- but I can suggest a workaround.
Call the 'clf' function before the second call to plot.

like:

plot(b(:,2),b(:,4))
plotyy(b(:,1),b(:,2),b(:,1),b(:,4))
clf; plot(b(:,2),b(:,4))

This worked from me.
