Thanks, Tatsuro, I tried opening it in a different pdf viewer (I had been using evince in FC18) and now it shows as a mu.submitted to bugzilla against evince: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=924872 _______________________________________________ Help-octave mailing list address@hidden https://mailman.cae.wisc.edu/listinfo/help-octave
I am using RHEL5 Evince 0.6.0 PostScript and PDF File Viewer. Using poppler 0.5.4 (cairo) and \mu does appear to be properly rendered as a lower case Greek letter mu. Talk to you later. Ron.
