I think I roughly know where the problem is that causes mysterious % or
# insertion ;) I'll find a fix soon.
The octave.el in this link http://bpaste.net/raw/RRvZT8vdSKvo9dl7Lm1A/
has the following two features:
1. texinfo comment highlight
2. correctly (de)highlight 'end' when used in an index expression
Could you give it a try and let me know if it is satisfactory? Thanks.
