I can't reproduce this. I could print such plot with both fltk and gnuplot. Which graphics_toolkit are you using ? (type graphics_toolkit in octave console and check the output string) >From the error message it seems that the nan pkg may be loaded. If you type 'pkg list' do you see an asterisk indication listed at the nan pkg line ?
