Hello,

Thanks for the detailed instructions.

I have installed octave with fink and I don't see an executable called 
run-octave.  All I have are the following,

/sw/bin/octave-3.6.4            /sw/bin/octave-config           
/sw/bin/octave-config-3.6.4

Not sure if this is a fink issue or whether I'm missing something here.
