I will ask around where we could get a room from (but I'm sure that one
of the universities will provide it).

As for accomodation, there's a JUFA [1] in Graz.  I like those
personally, and they are comparatively cheap.  But there are also lots
of other possibilities.  If things get concrete, I can ask whether group
rates are available.

Transport:  Graz has a small airport with connection flights to the
likes of Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich or Vienna.  There's also a relatively
good train connection (2-3 hours) to Vienna airport.
