SoCiS: maximum entropy method reconstruction for Octave

Hello,

I am a PhD student looking for a mentor for a ESA Summer of Code in 
Space for my custom project related to maximum entropy method. I was 
suggested on octave-maintainers to ask also here if there any people 
with expert knowledge on the subject who could be at least partially 
involved in the development of the project.

What I would like to do is to implement a maximum entropy method image 
reconstruction [1] with some generalization towards support of 
user-defined objective function which would extend the applicability of 
the algorithm.

I would be very happy to hear from anyone who would be interested.
