Hi Anton,
did you install the official Octave release from
https://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/octave/windows/ ? Please post the code, that makes
your system freeze. Is the GUI frozen for a while, forever, interruptable by
pressing CTRL+C? Are there any error messages?
