noticed that the help for dblquad indicates you can specify quadv as the integrator. since one of the highlights of quadv is that it can handle functions that return non-scalar output, can anyone comment on how robust this is within dblquad? peaking at the dblquad mfile, it doesn't seem that the inner integral evaluation would work if the function returned anything other than a scalar.
and, if quadv is restricted to scalar functions in dblquad... is there any advantage to using it over one of the faster integrators?
