bio-formats package for octave released

Hi everyone

the bio-formats project [1] has released for the first time an Octave
interface [2] to their java library.

Bio-formats is a library for reading microscopy image data and metadata.
They manage to read over 140 formats, most of them proprietary.

Note that this is not an Octave-Forge release, so you will have to
download the tarball manually and install it via "pkg install ...tar.gz".

It also requires that the bioformats library be available on the
system [3] and in the static javaclasspath (the file javaclasspath.txt
on the home directory must have a line with the path for bioformats.jar).
