An invitation to IRC

Now that GSoC is underway, I would like to invite the students and
everyone else to come by our #octave IRC channel in Freenode. You can
connect with any IRC client or via Freenode's web interface:

Several of us hang out there and we talk about the joys, sorrows,
triumphs and frustrations of using and developing Octave. We're pretty
informal too. Don't be afraid to say hi.
