Hi Tatsuro,

No, the cli mode doesn't work either.  It flashes open, then closes immediately.  The first time, it paused before it quit.  The error message was similar, 'a problem caused the program to work (in)correctly..."  The Windows 10 did pop out a dialog window saying the application may have compatibility problem and asked me whether I would like to in a different mode.  I chose 'Windows 7", but it still doesn't work.

On MacOS, deleting the directory below has been show to resolve such problems.

 ~/.config/octave/

I’m not sure where this directory would be under Windows.
