Can not indtsll octave parallel

Hello All,

I am trying to install the Octave parallel library (using pkg install -forge -verbose parallel)  but I am getting the following error:

checking for socket in -lws2_32... no
configure: error: found winsock2.h but no corresponding library

I am using Windows 7. I also have the windows sdk installed.
