Hi folks,
A new release of the doctest package [1] is out, version 0.5.0,
maintained by myself and Michael Walter.
One noteworthy change is a workaround for texinfo example blocks misused
as verbatim environments (as is common in core Octave). We hope this
might make it easier to start doctesting Octave.
See [2] for a summary of other changes.
The Octave-Forge Doctest package finds specially-formatted blocks of
example code within documentation files. It then executes the code and
confirms the output is correct. This can be useful as part of a testing
framework or simply to ensure that documentation stays up-to-date during
software development.
