Hi,
Your question has been already answered multiple times in a previous thread [1],
then you opened a new thread with the same question as you do not seem happy
about the reply.
You can keep asking as many times as you wish, but the answer will always be
the same: if you had installed Octave successfully all you would need to do to
start it
is typing "octave" at the command prompt.
This is not working for you because either configuration or build have failed.
If you would like guidance in identifying the reason for this failure you should
post here the error messages you got when running "configure" and "make".
Without such info nobody will be ever able to help you any further.
Finally, if the process of building from sources is beyond your skills you
can wait for a binay package to be available for your GNU/Linux distribution
which will happen very soon.
