If you look at the wiki page for the image package [1], you can see
that there are still quite a number of missing functions related to
the package, along with some other notes on desired bugs for solving
in the near future. I do not know how up to date that bug list is, but
you can also search the bug tracker [2] for items mentioning a
specific package.
