socket close

Hello there,

i am new to Octave and i need to send and receive data with sockets.
I now have the problem that i am not able to close the socket. i can 
disconnect, but than the listening connection on the other side does not 
close.

i did not find any function call for it on the sockets package api 
reference.

Any help or hint is greatly apreciated, thank you so much!!
