bwmorph operations compatibility

Hello, 

I am trying to implement a code that was written in Matlab. I'm running into
an error when Octave tries to use the 'endpoints' operation in the bwmorph
function. What's the equivalent operation in Matlab. The image I'm
processing has multiple line-like segments and that's what I'm using that
operation for.
