I don't know, I compile GST daily under Linux.
Try:
- a better compiler than the one in RH7 (which I nevertheless used
successfully under IA-64, so that should not be the problem)
- commenting USE_GCC_DISPATCH in interp.c
- if you can't find that (I am going by memory and could be wrong),
comment HAVE_GOTO_VOID_P in config.h
