Today I've finished to lightning port to SPARC, and GNU Smalltalk works
great! (actually GNU Smalltalk was the test bed to show bugs in the port).
Performance on a Sun Blade 200 MHz: 53758924 bytecodes/sec, 2959892 sends/sec
Interpreter on the same workstation: 18699780 bytecodes/sec, 1373836 sends/sec
Only remaining to 2.0, finishing the networking classes and writing the
Namespace Browser. Expect it for June.
