I can't help you, but I've been looking for something like ppmtoyuv4mpeg!!
Where can I find it? You use it to make mpeg stills, don't you?
I tried with ppmtoyuv and ppmtoeyuv (from netpbm package) but it doesn't
works with mpeg2enc...
