yes and thats the problem, the new CVS version uses a new
YUV4MPG format, which isn't supported by your installed
exportvideo, download the newest exportvideo version
and use the flag -Y 1:
exportvideo -Y 1 "$1.nuv" "|mpeg2enc -f5 -F3 -b1750 -q1...."
