So true my good man. I need to stop thinking I live in an all-NTSC world!
480x480 at 29.97fps is ok for NTSC, but for PAL you have to use 480x576 25fps.I've tried some non-standard resolution on my AVPhile 715. I tried to do 720x480 for SVCD. It played but the video was awful--very garbled and completely unwatchable.anyway you can use other resolutions than theese two, but then you leave the SVCD standard and will have a XSVCD, which probably no DVD player might play ;)
