[VCDImager] what's -p ?

I've found the -p parameter in some of my scripts. I can't find it in
the man page, or in "vcdimager --usage". Anyone knows what's the
meaning? Apparently it doesn't do anything bad, but i want to know what
is it. This is the full command-line:

vcdimager -p -t svcd --add-dir=SEGMENT foobar.mpg

I'm using vcdimager 0.7.12
