If so, use it, of course. But: what is it you want to
do?

Yes, of course. I can't help you because I never did
stuff like that, I on the contrary always want Gnus to
automatically connect to all sources of incoming
communication - but that sounds like very possible to
do, so keep digging if you want it :)
