I ran across Klog on the machamradio website and decided to give it a try. I
downloaded 0.9.5 on my Mac and after the initial setup it crashes. I tried
this on both a Mac laptop and desktop running OSX 10.13.6. I downloaded 0.9.4
and it works great! Crash reporter says the following:
Notes: Translocated Process
Crashed Thread: 0 Dispatch queue: com.apple.main-thread
Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGBUS)
Exception Codes: KERN_PROTECTION_FAILURE at 0x000000010213060f
Exception Note: EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFY
Termination Signal: Bus error: 10
Termination Reason: Namespace SIGNAL, Code 0xa
Terminating Process: exc handler [0]
Not sure if this helps or not. If there is more info I can provide please let
me know.
A question I have is will Klog support UDP multicast in the future? I use
GridTracker with WSJT-X and it supports multicast so that other apps can also
share the UDP feed. If I run Klog it appears to lock the UDP port and not
allow other apps to connect. So for now I can only run one or the other. I
tried the port forwarding on GridTracker but that didn’t seem to work. If
anyone has WSJT-X, Grid Tracker and Klog all running together please let me
know how you accomplished it.
Final question is can you import a LOTW ADIF file into Klog? I have created a
number of exports from the LOTW website and each fails when trying to import.
If anyone has done it can you let me know what options you selected for the
export?
Thanks for the great product!
Dana
