Itemtype values are very site-specific.  Perhaps we can make configurable 
defaults
or some alternate table-driven method.  I notice people also use it to denote
other collections such as paperback.  I don't know where binding type shows
up in Marc other than an ISBN comment (pbk), but it could be useful also.
