[Koha-devel] Working CVS

Hi to all,
after a little time of quietness I had now found time to translate at 
least the OPAC to german.
Now as I wanted to test it I had to recognize that the actual cvs is not 
working :-(
Much of the development goes into different branches.
I think this is not clever for futur-releases.
What is the reason for the confusing branch situation?
Couldn't we merge some branches to the main-trunk?
What about rel-1-2?
Could it be that some branches are more actual than the main trunk?
Can somebody explain me what part of the development goes in what branch 
and why not in the main-trunk.
Sorry, I'm not the cvs-geek!
